Alterations
Our Alteration service is a high-end couture level offering. We specialize in garment reconstruction for suits, overcoats, sport jackets, and trousers for both men and women, which allows us to resize garments if need be. Thanks to over a decade's experience in tailoring, you can rely on our professional advice. Your satisfaction is our goal and you can trust we'll guide you the right way. We have a 2-week turn-around policy with a rush option if you need the garment sooner. You can check out our alteration prices here. Custom Tailoring
Our Custom Tailoring service is unrivaled. The quality of these garments rivals that of bespoke garments. These pieces boast craftsmanship featuring a canvas which creates structure over the chest and proper suppression through the waist, quality wool fabrics allowing for a beautiful drape, and handmade finishes such as the buttonholes. This is a real treat for those who indulge in the finer things, seek the closest thing to perfection, and appreciate true craftsmanship! To reach such a high standard we have one intermediate fitting for first-time clients allowing us to fit both men and women. It's affordable and has a quick turnaround time of 5-7 weeks. It also benefits the fashion savvy by offering different options like shoulder style and lapel width just to name a few. We cannot express to you enough how rewarding this experience is.
This is how it works.
The Initial Visit
The process begins with understanding your lifestyle, the occasion for the garment, and your wants and needs. We then help guide you to select your cloth from our vast fabric collection; carefully curated from the best mills in the world. Next, we take over 20 skin measurements to draft your paper pattern and note your body postures.
The Fitting:
Once we have your measurements we draft a pattern that is unique to you and we make a sample for you to try on. For first-time clients, this step is crucial; here we do in-depth alterations. Once we are satisfied with the fit, we cut the garment from the real cloth. We take note of the alterations for subsequent orders to avoid this step again.
The Delivery:
Once the final garment is ready, we carefully review that it meets our standards in every sense. During the delivery, if we see that some alterations are still needed, we will correct them in a timely fashion. Once we are both satisfied with the garment, your sartorial journey begins!
Not in New Jersey, not a problem. We travel to certain cities hosting trunk shows (pop-ups) to bring the experience to you. We also have an online option where we schedule a video chat to have a, somewhat, face-to-face interaction.
We care about clothing and love tailoring them, that's why we do whatever it takes to offer our best services. If you'd like to dress better than the average, we gladly accept the task.
